Nothing makes my boys faces light up like food or FOOTBALL.
We walked the 20 minutes to our favorite green space past all the kids throwing confetti and wearing costumes for Carnivale. I'm sure they couldn't figure out what "costume" Brendan had on with his Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo shirt.
Before long we had a group of bystanders watching them throw the pigskin. Even the teenagers kissing on the park benches and the preteens throwing fireworks at those making-out, all stopped to see what they were doing.
Steve had them running for passes
and blocking and then the dreaded SQUISH. The fear is ALWAYS dog crap, but thankfully it was only mud!
Steve clearly wasn't enjoying his play time.
Dusk and closing time came way too fast,
but the smiles lasted because there was lasagna waiting in the oven at home.

We have been terrible about commenting but always love seeing the latest in your lives. We miss you all so much! Happy belated birthday to Trevor. We can't wait to all get together soon.
So cool! Looking forward to the day when I can do the same with my boys.
