Things to Value

This cute, smiling little girl has blossomed into a young lady over the past few months. This was especially apparent in the Young Women's New Beginnings Value Pageant. (Natalie was Miss Integrity). They had all the girls baby pictures, and had the dad's get up and speak on how much their daughters had grown over the past few years.

Steve related a story of a family trip to Canada when Natalie was a 4 yr. old. She was on a huge horse that was bucking for a good minute. Natalie didn't scream or fall off but just hung on tightly to the reins and horses mane. He related how Natalie has held just as tightly to the gospel despite a turbulent unsteady world we live in. And even though school friends have not made good choices and fallen into trouble, Natalie has held on to her church Values. It was very touching. There are so many moments each day where things go wrong, and it was just nice to see through tear stained eyes something so beautiful that has gone so right.

New Beginnings! I remember that so vividly now! Natalie, you are so grown up and beautiful! I think Integrity was a good choice for you to wear although I know we could go on! We love you!
