Newest Moore Family addition
Kids and pets are like boys and mud or girls and jewelry, they aren't quite complete without the latter. Since we moved to Rome the kids have been BEGGING for an animal. Babysitting a friends dog just didn't fill the gap....
This past month, Steve finally broke down and said "yes" to a cat. We frequently visit the Cat Sanctuary, (historically where Cesear was stabbed by Brutus), and help pet the cats and kittens housed there. One thing that Natalie did not like, was how the cats ears are clipped when they are neutered. She was delighted when a 2 year old cat was brought in, from an American family who couldn't keep it and his ears were in tact.

He did not want to be in the carrying case.
We couldn't drive in this historical section of town, so we had to take the 30 minute bus ride home. Romo protested and meowed like crazy and LOUDLY for 20 minutes while we waited.
But the worse part was how he scared people on the bus with his scary yowling. One poor woman looked so terrified she just got up and ran off the bus. He survived the ordeal and took to his new home quite quickly.
Here he is... the green eyed beast that sheds, claws my carpets and stinks up my laundry room. He has "adopted" three children who are madly in love with him, one dad who shakes his head at his antics and a mom who pets him with one hand and vacuums with the other and wouldn't give him up for anything in the world.

Welcome to "animal business" once you get one animal you can never go without!! What a pretty cat, we are thinking about getting on in the spring to help with the mouse population. You are a good mom for letting it inside....no way for me, having three outside is enough to clean up.
He's a cute kitty. Just think of how he's going to act on the final flight back to the states... Be glad you won't have to listen to that racket.
