Christi's Baby Shower with her cute "baby bump". (Mom kept starting on stories about Christi as a baby & getting side tracked--poor Christi). Sarah was so good to have it at her house. Sarah is the best substitute mom ever... all the little nieces and nephews have been cuddled and loved on by her.
Heidi-Ho hiking with us at Dinosaur National Park. It was 115 degrees. She was packing Dallas and she is still smiling and making my hot tired kids happy. She is official Mom #2
Christi and Ilene in Burley...they drove 3 hours from Boise to meet us halfway from Sid's house. They played in the pool with the kids and made them feel mothered and loved. Starting at the young age of 8, Ilene helped care for Trevor and Brendan when they were infants.

Smiling in spite of hardship is the Bastian way, be it 115 degrees or our last crumb. Such strength and grace comes with the name. You are all such an inspiration!
